Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland

Want to become the Cheshire Cat from Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland film? A full body Cheshire Cat costume Tim Burton Alice style would be so cool! But you should remember, you gotta keep grinning wide for the role. Or, you can create a mask and draw the widest possible smile you can that shows all your sharp teeth, just like the Cheshire Cat. Next, get some cat-eyed inspired green contact lenses to achieve the same trickery and creepy look of the Cheshire Cat. And get some gray and turquoise striped knee-high socks, and gray and turquoise striped long-sleeve shirt or hoodie. If the hoodie comes with cat ears, great. If not, just clip on some black cat ears. And you’re set! You’re now the infamous Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland!

CHESSUR, THE CHESHIRE CAT (voice of Stephen Fry) is a dapper tabby with the ability to appear and disappear. He is all calm, casual sensuality with a seductive grin that masks his cowardice. It’s the cat’s disembodied head that first appears to Alice in Tulgey Wood after she’s been attacked by the vicious Bandersnatch. He offers to purify the gashes on her arm by licking them. Alice declines, although she allows him to lead her to the Hatter’s Tea Party where the Hatter blames him for deserting them on the day the Red Queen seized control of Underland. Using his skills and the Hatter’s coveted top hat, Chessur later finds a way to redeem himself.

“But I don’t want to go among mad people,” Alice remarked.
“Oh, you can’t help that,” said the Cat: “we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.”
“How do you know I’m mad?” said Alice.
“You must be,” said the Cat, “or you wouldn’t have come here.”

Walt Disney Pictures has just released new amazing movie photos for ALICE IN WONDERLAND featuring some really cool stills of Underland, Alice (Mia Wasikowska), THE MAD HATTER (Johnny Depp), CHESSUR, THE CHESHIRE CAT (voice of Stephen Fry) and THE MARCH HARE (voice of Paul Whitehouse). My favorite has to be the March Hare, he looks like so wacky. The Cheshire Cat is up there too.
